Impact of illegal gold mining in Jambi, Indonesia

چکیده

Illegal gold mining caused various environmental damages in the world. Indonesia is one of countries with abundant mineral reserves, especially Jambi Province. has much natural resources, such as coal and gold. Unfortunately, management these resources not been appropriately managed, which resulted illegal mining. activities have damage, mainly decreased water quality changed landscapes. This paper explains at Province, including its history, socio-economic impacts, well recent technologies to reduce damage. Quantitative qualitative methods were used this research, interviews, questionnaires, laboratory measurements.
